Sullay Kaikai (Crystal Palace - on loan at Shrewsbury) Sullay Kaikai is on loan at Shrewsbury from Crystal Palace The 20-year-old has hit the ground running since returning to Shrewsbury at the start of March, scoring six goals in as many games. His impressive form has helped the Shrews sit five points clear of the relegation zone in League One.It has also left manager Micky Mellon wondering why he has not been called up by England U21s yet.Tell me whos better than him in that Under-21 team? Mellon said. Look at the qualities he has. A young English talent who can score the kind of goals he has for us for so long now.Hes exciting for the fans and he makes back fours bend with his pace, trickery, directness and his desire to score. And he works his socks off. He comes with Premier League standards because thats what hes used to, and it rubs off on everyone else.Lee Tomlin (Bournemouth - on loan at Bristol City) Tomlin celebrates his winner against Fulham Signed on loan in January, Tomlin has played a key role in helping Bristol City pull clear of the Championship bottom three. His most influential moment in the March was the late free-kick at relegation rivals Fulham that secured a 2-1 victory for the Robins. It was a big feeling when that nestled in the bottom corner, said Bristol boss Lee Johnson. After training sessions he always has the ball out. The keepers stay out with him. Practice makes perfect. He can bend it like Beckham. He cant run so he has to!Tomlin was nominated for the Championship Player of the Month award for March but missed out to Sheffield Wednesdays Fernando Forestieri.Ashley Fletcher (Manchester United - on loan at Barnsley) Ashley Fletcher (L) celebrates winning the JPT The young forward has been in fine form in March, scoring twice as Barnsley have won four of their last five League One games. The highlight, though, was netting at Wembley on Sunday in the Johnstones Paint Trophy final win over Oxford United. Fletcher grabbed the second goal as the Tykes came from behind to lift the trophy.Hopefully my profile has increased game by game but the main thing is to get experience, score as many goals as possible and return to United a better player, says the 20-year-old.James Wilson (Manchester United - on loan at Brighton) James Wilson (left) has shown encouraging signs at Brighton Although Brighton boss Chris Hughton says Wilson has been a bit stop-start since joining on loan, there have been encouraging signs recently. The forwards highlight of the last month was scoring the winning goal against Reading during a performance that Hughton said was his best all-round 90 minutes for the club.He has been involved and hes getting used to the level of what the Championship is, Hughton added.Gaston Ramirez (Southampton - on loan at Middlesbrough) Gaston Ramirez scored twice against Wolves After starting the month by scoring both goals in a 2-1 win over Wolves, Ramirez was named man of the match in Boros next game against Rotherham. He also scored in the 3-2 victory at QPR last Friday as Boro maintained their push for automatic promotion.Ramirez is getting better every game, said Boro boss Aitor Karanka after the win over Wolves. I knew he was a good player at Southampton and from the Premier League. He knows the country and style, I knew he would be an important player. I thought it would take time but it has not taken long and he plays well sooner than I expected.Hit the video at the top of this article to watch Marchs loan stars in action. North Dakota States reign as the three-time FCS national champion was pushed to the limit by South Dakota State on Saturday, but freshman R.STONEY CREEK, Ont. -- The Canadian Football League Players Association has elected a new executive committee as it prepares for the next round of labour talks with the league. Scott Flory has been elected president, Jay McNeil will serve as first vice-president and Marwan Hage of the Ottawa Redblacks will serve as second vice-president, the CFLPA said Monday in a statement. Flory succeeds Mike Morreale as president. The 2014-15 executive committee also includes third vice-president Jeff Keeping of the Toronto Argonauts and treasurer Brian Ramsay of the Edmonton Eskimos. The CFLPA is set to hold talks with the league April 10-11. "This CBA negotiation, coinciding as it does with the start of the leagues new five-year deal with TSN, is a perfect time to revisit some of the past revenue concessions made by the CFL players and negotiate a deal that is fair and reasonable for both the players and the league," Flory said. Player health and safety issues, career transitioning and pension improvements are also expected to be discussed. The leagues current collective bargaining agreement with the players expires May 30. Flory said he is expectting changes going forward.dddddddddddd. "Our members have worked hard to provide high-calibre entertainment on the field, as well as a strong CFL presence in their communities, both of which have contributed significantly to the success of the league," he said. "While the CFLPA agrees that we must remain sensible and smart about our business, the burden of financial responsibility is not one that can or should be borne solely by the players. "While we want to continue to play the game that we love, we will not play the 2014 season under the terms of the current CBA." In a release earlier in the month, commissioner Mark Cohon said labour negotiations will be kept private. "Out of respect for this important process, and for our players, I never discuss negotiations in the media or in public," Cohon said. "We are committed to working towards a fair and reasonable agreement with our players. We want to be fair to them and keep our league on the path to being strong as well as stable." The 2014 season is slated to begin June 26 with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers home to the Toronto Argonauts. ' ' '
